Amanda Fisk was born and lived most of her life in London. She studied at Chelsea Art School, The Central School, and Bristol Old Vic Drama School, which led her eventually into theatre design a career she pursued for nearly 20 years.

Now resident in Cornwall, her work reflects the sea, landscapes, beaches, and buildings of her immediate surroundings – using a variety of materials to build an abstraction of the textures and colours.
