James Clarke studied Fine Art at KIAD in Canterbury in the 1990s where his work became increasingly influenced by the likes of Modigliani, Matisse, Lowry and the 1920s in general.

James has sold extensively in England, Scotland and Ireland, and his paintings reside in collections as far afield as Australia. He is also the family portrait painter for Sheik Yamani.
