Anthony was born in Ramsgate in 1961 and has lived all of his life in Kent.

After attending Hartsdown Secondary School he studied at the London College of Printing and Design.

He has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for most of his career, producing illustrations for, among others, Hornby Railways, Scalextric and lCl Oils.

Living on the Kent coast he has finally returned to his love of landscape painting. He is greatly influenced by the beautiful Kentish landscape with its constantly changing skies and light. He is also fascinated by reflections and light on water.

His seascapes, with their characteristic ‘two sails’ and typically moody skies, reflect his passion and respect for the sea. Indeed many of his paintings are framed in reclaimed timber or driftwood to emphasise their connection with nature.

His paintings can be seen in galleries and private collections throughout the South East of England.
