I was born in London 1963 but grew up mostly in Canvey Island, Essex after my father had taken me travelling around the world with his work.

I was painting and drawing from an early age, and missed the end of my schooling so that I could pursue work as an artist. This gave me a small income until my early 20’s when I worked as a builder for a while.

I returned later to my real work.

A few years ago I was commissioned by the Prince of Dubai to paint a massive piece known as ‘The Window’ this was then printed 140 times full size for display in the Burj Al Arab (the famous hotel). From this I received another commission from the King of Saudi Arabia, which hangs behind his throne. Although I have been fortunate with the commissions I have received, I prefer now to paint what I like and hope that these paintings are enjoyed by others. My paintings concentrate mainly on atmosphere and emotion; I hope the viewer will see more than is actually on the canvas – so completing the picture.

My home now is Pegwell Bay in Kent, where I think the surroundings will inspire me at this new stage in my career as an Artist.
