Terence has painted almost all his life, but made his career in the commercial design world.

He trained at the Central School of Art in Holborn, London, and started work as a Graphic Designer. Then worked in fashion photography in Paris and in Furniture Design in the 60s.

He went on to be Art Director for Terence Conran, when the Conran Empire was at its zenith, with Habitat, Heals, Storehouse, the Conran shops and Conran Design.

As a painter he painted abstracts from the late 50s, and then taught himself figurative painting.

He now lives in Sandwich and specialises in landscapes and coast-scapes, capturing the special qualities of light, and space which has attracted so many painters to East Kent. His paintings of local scenes (including the golf courses) are particularly sought after.

His work is in many well-known galleries and he has executed many corporate commissions for boardrooms and offices.
